Dawk Ready For Dallas? There's A Chance

Update: Dawk is expected to practice Wednesday

Could Dawk be back for the Dallas game? That would be amazing.

Having sat out the past 5 games with a neck injury, there is hope that Brian Dawkins could be back on the field Sunday night. With plenty of time until the game there are still many variables that need to be accounted for but the possibility is at least there.

As of now there is still no indication of what his role would be, how much playing time he would see, but anything would help.

Up until this point Quintin Mikell, despite a ridiculous unnecessary roughness penalty (one of way too many by the team as a whole on the day), Mikell has been doing a very good job in filling in for Dawk. There is no way to replace a player of Dawkin's caliber but Mikell has done his job well while working within this secondary that has experienced a round of injuries between Considine and Sheppard as well.
