I'm Back To Start All Over

This is where we have led ourselves, after an entire offseason of predicting and analyzing the season ahead, too many things went wrong. Sitting here with the 2007 season completed in a disappointing fashion, considering we didn't make the playoffs, we start the cycle all over again.

It's evident that my frustrations rose to an all time high with this team in the fact that I did not post all through December. At that point I just felt all was lost, there was nothing left that I could even honestly talk about that was football related. The news seemed to focus entirely around Donvan McNabb's future, every single week, and the constant speculation without any real facts was driving me crazy.

After one of my many hiatus's through the past 2 years I'm anxious to get into actually one of my favorite parts of the year, the offseason where moves are being made and everyone starts with a clean slate.

The continuous circle of football, the fact that the league is in action all year long despite the fact that actual games are only played for 6 months, brings us right back to the beginning.

As frustrating as this year was considering I had such high expectations and we seemed to constantly fall just short, losing games that we should have won, it has not taken me long at all to recover from the disappointments of this year.

Looking ahead to the 2008 season I am so excited for not only those games that are way off in the future of course, but for these next few months where we truly construct the team that is going to get us to win those games next year.

There's a lot in store for this team as far as roster moves are concerned because I think everything revolves around Donovan McNabb and as much criticism as he has received especially this past year, I think he deserves one last shot. The Quarterback is the center of a team and I'm not ready to give up on McNabb just yet.

Through the next few entries I'm going to break down position by position on this team to analyze the players that are here right now as well as the improvements that need to be made at each spot. You'll observe that I don't think there needs to be a major over haul of any part of this team but there are a few very key tweaks that can turn things around.
